Data refreshes from financial institutions may experience occasional delays due to factors like regulations, technical issues, or security time-outs.
For best results, connect your investment accounts outside of market hours, as many financial institutions restrict third-party connections during active trading times.
In general, your linked accounts in RightCapital should refresh each time you log in, although refresh frequency can vary by institution. We recommend logging into RightCapital at least once a month to review your financial plan and confirm your data is up-to-date.
Below are some common RightCapital errors along with troubleshooting steps. Please reach out to help@advisor.com if these tips do not resolve your issue!

Do you have two-factor authentication set up on your account? Two-factor authentication is an additional layer of security that institutions can offer. Most link options require you to have this set up when linking through a third-party aggregator. If you are unsure how to set this up, please contact your institution for help.
If you are still receiving an error message after verifying the above, please leave the error message under “Import in progress”. This way, we can let the RightCapital team know of the issue so they can investigate.
