How to link your accounts in RightCapital

Linking your accounts is quick and easy. Just follow the steps below.

Data refreshes from financial institutions may experience occasional delays due to factors like regulations, technical issues, or security time-outs.

For best results, connect your investment accounts outside of market hours, as many financial institutions restrict third-party connections during active trading times.

In general, your linked accounts in RightCapital should refresh each time you log in, although refresh frequency can vary by institution. We recommend logging into RightCapital at least once a month to review your financial plan and confirm your data is up-to-date.

Link Account vs. Add Account

In RightCapital, you have the option to Link or Add your different accounts in order to build your full financial picture.

Linking an account is an automatic and secure way to connect your different financial accounts (mortgages, bank accounts, investments, credit cards, loans, etc). It will refresh your data automatically, on a periodic cadence depending on the financial institution's specific requirements.

Adding an account gives you the option to input data - like rent payments - manually.  Also, if you aren't able to find your financial institution in the automated linking options, you should add that information manually.

Keep in mind that the connections to financial institutions sometimes have delays in refreshing your data due to a wide variety of reasons (technical issues, security time-outs, etc).

In general, the accounts you sync with RightCapital will refresh each time you login, depending on the financial institution you are linking to.
